Pointers Move onto Level 3

It was a rematch from week 9 Friday night, as the Mineral Point Pointers took on the Lancaster Flying Arrows. The game was held at UWP due to weather conditions. The Pointers fell behind early which was the first time they were behind all year. The Pointers didn’t panic though as they stuck to their game plan and battled back. They tied the game up late 28-28. The Mineral Point defense came up with a big stop and was able to get the ball back t0 their offense. With 59 seconds remaining from the 50 yard line, the Pointer offense was able to punch it in on a big run by Will Straka. The two play drive took a total of 12 seconds. That touchdown secured a Pointer victory, 35-28. The Pointers will travel to Mondovi this Friday to take on the Buffalo in a Level 3 match-up.
