The Pointer girls basketball team hosted the Cuba City girls Thursday night. The Pointers held the lead for most of the game, but the Cubans took control late in the game to come away with a 50 – 46 win. Nicole Johnson led the Pointers in scoring with 15 points, Ivy Lawinger contributed 10, and Mallory Lindsey and Ella Chambers both scored 9 points. Coach Keyes and the team look to bounce back this upcoming Tuesday in Platteville.
