Wrestlers Take 3rd at Regionals Advancing Five Wrestlers

This past weekend the Pointer wrestlers hosted Fennimore, Lancaster, Iowa-Grant/Highland, Pecatonica/Argyle, Boscobel, and River Ridge/Cassville for the WIAA Division 3 Regionals. Nolan Springer and Lucas Sullivan got 1st in their weight class, and Daniel Nordstrom, Tarrin Riley, and Mason Hughs got 2nd in theirs. They have qualified for Sectionals and will be going to Westby High School next weekend. Trapper Nafzger, Ross Lindsey, Wyatt Evans, Bo Hansen, and Mason Horn got 3rd place in their weight classes. Hayden Bakken and Chandler Workman got 5th. Wish our wrestlers the best in Westby!
