This past weekend Mineral Point sent three wrestlers on to WIAA Individual State: Tarrin Riley, Mason Hughs, and Nolan Springer. Nolan left Mineral Point as a kid who loved to wrestle and hang out with friends and family. He came home as Mineral Point’s 51st State Champion at #160lbs after defeating William Peters of Chetek, WI. After a five year dry spell of coming close to many champions, he has made it rain in Mineral Point. Mason Hughs also got on the podium in 5th place in the #182lbs after defeating Ben Strehlow of Weyauwega, WI. Tarrin Riley also competed, unfortunately he did not get to the podium. But we cannot wait until we see these wrestlers again next year!
