Dodge-Point United Continues Their Winning Streak

September 21

Monday brought forth a slew of victories for the Dodge-Point soccer team. They traveled to Platteville and faced off against the Platteville/Lancaster Hillmen, delivering a double defeat by both the JV and Varsity teams. JV ended the game with a 2-1 victory. Not a bad way to end their first game if I do say so myself (and I do). Varsity opened up an even bigger can of kick-butt to their Plattevillian opponents, ending with a cool 5-0 win. Both Drew Hottenstein and Jared Wedig scored rather long-distance goals (30 plus yards). I may be sounding like a broken record at this point but Hayden Bakken, Jared Wedig, and Miles Houtakker once again absolutely shut down all who dared to approach them, including last year’s conference MVP.
