While the Dodge-Point JV team may have ended their season, the Varsity guys are still going strong, with them pulling out yet another win. They faced Richland Center and pulled the rug out from under them (metaphorically speaking, of course) with a respectable 2-0 victory, even when Richland stacked their defensive end with a hefty amount of players. While DP provided another lock defensive game giving them their 5th shutout of the season. This win cemented their Conference Champs reputation and landed them the number 5 spot when it comes to Wisconsin’s Division Two rankings. This season’s statistics also came in, revealing that DP scored 39 times this season while they only let in 4 goals all season. Very cool indeed. This game marks the end of Varsity’s regular season, leaving only the playoffs ahead of them, which will begin on Tuesday against Reedsburg at Harris Park in Dodgeville.
