Varsity Football Wins First Game Back 28-19

The Pointers came back from a two-week shutdown and faced River Valley. The game started slower than normal, with the pointers only scoring 7 points. Going into halftime, the score was knotted up at 7. Out of halftime, the Pointers came out striking, scoring on the first possession. The Pointers controlled the entire second half. The pointers won 28-19. Dominik McVay had 3 touchdowns, with Will Straka adding one. Bo Hanson went perfect on field goals. Coach Palzkil started after the game, “It felt like the first week all over again.” The Pointers’ next game will be up against Lancaster in Mineral Point on November 6.
