Liam Stumpf leads the Pointers to a Big Win over the L-Cats.
November 6
The Pointers faced off against the Lancaster Flying arrows Friday night. It was Mineral Point’s last regular-season game, as well as homecoming. Lancaster came out swinging as they scored a 67-yard touchdown pass on the second play of the game. It took the Pointer a few positions to get started, but once they got hot, there wasn’t anything stopping them. It was a huge night for the Pointers defense as they had a combined 5 interceptions. The Pointers came out with a victory 42-20. Their next game will be 1 of 2 playoffs games as they face off against the Palmyra-Eagles on November 13.
