On Monday, the Pointers Varsity Boys Basketball team engaged Fennimore in a fiery battle with no clear long term advantage. But when the smoke cleared, Big Blue was the one emerging from the ashes, beating them 72-59. They can’t extinguish this inferno! In terms of tonight’s leading scorers, we have the usual Liam Stumpf, Ian Keyes, and Joah Filardo. Liam scored 18 points, Ian scored 17 points, and Joah scored 11 points.  When one looks at the team’s overall performance, the part that stuck out the most tonight was (in the words of head coach Daniel Burreson) “our team’s defensive effort and how well we moved the ball on offense” Their next game is on Friday against Cuba City. Let’s keep this fire burning!
