The Mineral Point JV football team took a tough loss to their rivals, the Darlington Redbirds, 44-6. The Pointers started the first two quarters off rockily. They went into the half trailing 36-0. With a running clock in the second half, the Pointers battled and managed to score at the start. After that, they couldn’t get much brewing offensively. The JV team travels to Black Hawk next Monday.
