The Pointer Volleyball girls battled the Riverdale Chieftains last night. Before the Varsity game, the JV girls took on the Chieftains and won overall 2-1. Then to follow, the Varsity girls played and dominated on the court. They showed their improvement in the first set, winning 25-12, and dominated the second set with a score of 25-12. Then, in their last set, the girls blew the Chieftains out of the water and took home the overall win. Junior Kennedy Wenger quoted on the night, “Last night was a good night to show everyone what we are actually about. We pulled it together and played as a team very well. We are going to keep building from there.” All three teams will travel to Fennimore Tuesday, September 21 to take on the Golden Eagles. The theme will be Jersey night, so come cheer on your Pointer Volleyball team.
