Last night, the Pointer Volleyball team took on the Iowa Grant Panthers in an exciting battle. The JVR and JV girls played before the varsity game, finally getting to take on the Panthers. Although the JVR battled every match, they ended up losing 1-2, the scores of the sets were 24-26, 25-22, and 14-16. Then, the JV girls played and won all three thrilling sets, the scores of those sets were 25-16, 26-24, and 16-14. Finally, the Varsity girls had an electrifying win against the Panthers, sweeping them 3-0. They dominated the first set and won 25-8, then won the second set 25-19, and were victorious in their last set 25-13. The stat leaders for last night’s game were: 

Kills: Kennedy Wenger – 6, Kennedy Kabat – 5

Blocks: Kennedy Kabat – 4, Blair Watters & Katelyn Cox – 2

Aces: Ella Chambers – 8, Mallory Lindsey – 5

Assists: Mallory Lindsey – 20

Digs: Kennedy Wenger – 12, Mallory Lindsey – 7
