Pointer Volleyball Loses in a Close Battle Against Cuba City

Last night, the Pointer Volleyball team took on the Cuba City Cubans in a hard-fought battle. JV girls played before Varsity and ended up losing all three sets, 18-25, 25-27, 8-15. Finally, Varsity had a good night battling all the way through the five sets 25-27, 25-9, 18-25, 25-20, 16-18. Head coach Kari Kabat said, “We have played the best we have all year, we had them on the ropes and just didn’t close.” The atmosphere was very exciting which helped hyped up the team throughout the night. The Stat leaders for last night’s game were:
