The Mineral Point Varsity beat Parkview/Albany in a thrashing of 66-0. Sophomore safety and quarterback Gibsen Sporle led the deadly scoring attack with three touchdowns. When asked about the game he quotes, “The fans were really into it and it carried over to the field.” The Pointers need to win out the rest of the season for a playoff berth. This week they travel to Fennimore as they look to continue the winning.
