October 7 

In volleyball action last night, the JV girls played before the varsity and pulled out the win in all three matches. The matches’ scores were 25-16, 25-21, and 15-11. Good job, girls! After the JV, varsity got a chance to redeem themselves from earlier in the season. The girls dominated on the court resulting in beating the Redbirds 3-0. They left everything on the court, and it paid off, really showing their improvement from the first time. In the first match, they fought through the end and won 25-22; they won the second set 25-18. In the last match, they came up victorious with the score being 25-21. Senior Libero Ella Chamber comments, “It was a great bounce back from the first time we played them. We had a lot of fuel coming into the game wanting to prove ourselves.” Support the girls in their next game at Southwestern on the 11th. Dress in bright colors for the theme of neon!
