In Pointer action last night the Varsity volleyball team took the win of 3-0 over the Parkview Vikings. The girls started the night off with an electric win of 25 – 19. Entering the second set the girls came out strong and swept away the Vikings scoring 25 – 15. For the final match, the girls pinned Parkview to the floor scoring 25 – 12. The stat leaders for the game were:

Kills – Blair Watters & Kennedy Kabat – 10

Blocks – several tied with 1

Aces – Kennedy Kabat – 4, Emma Steffes – 2

Assists – Mallory Lindsey – 32

Digs – Emma Steffes – 9, Mallory Lindsey – 8

Player of the week Blair Watters comments, “We came in with high energy, and we were ready to play when the game started. I definitely think that we still need to talk on the court to get better passes up.” This win made the gym light up. The girls will be traveling to New Glarus to take on the Knights, Thursday night at 7 pm continuing their season. Make sure to wear your White Lie shirt!
