Key Club Holds First Halloween Fair Fundraiser for Local Kids

This past Saturday, Key Club partnered with the Kiwanis Club to hold a Halloween fundraiser event at Orchard Lawn. The event allowed kids to come dressed up to participate in a costume contest and play a variety of activities. Candy was awarded for playing and winning of games. Some of the activities included pin the spider on the web, Halloween bingo, face painting, pop the balloon on the pumpkin, mystery cups, Halloween match the ducks, pumpkin building, building a monster, and guessing the amount of candy corn in the jar. There were about 50 kids along with their families that attended the event and took on the fun. Approximately $200 was raised in this event and that money will help fund scholarships, club activities, and events like this one! Pictures of the kids dressed up can be seen on the right.
