Pointers Pounce on the Wildcats
December 2, 2021
Thursday night the Pointers took on the Belleville wildcats in a conference matchup. First off, the Pointers JV team crushed the Wildcats by a score of 58 to 35. Leading scorers were Brady Radtke with 12 points and Reid Acherman with 10. Next, the Varsity took the court, the Pointers were down 14 early but bounced back to only down 2 at the end of the first half. The second half was very exciting with each team trading off baskets, but the Pointers closed out the win by a score of 86-85. Four pointers scored in double figures: Joah Filardo with 24 points, Bodie Bossert with 19, and Leyton Bowers and Dominick McVay added 16 each. Owen Ward took rebounding honors with 10. Leyton Bowers dished out 5 assists.
