Dodge-Point-Iowa-Grant Gymnastics Team Places 2nd Overall

The Dodge-Point-Iowa-Grant gymnastics team traveled to River Valley’s school on Saturday 29th to compete in an invitational against seven other teams. The JV team continues to get better as they beat their high score again with a 109.5. The JV team happily also took 1st place overall. For JV individuals Malea Aschliman placed 5th on bars, 2nd on bars, and tied for 3rd on all-around. Also, Ally Baehler placed 1st on vault, and she placed 5th in the combined JV and Varsity all-around. No one ended up placing for Varsity, but the team beat their season-high score by 5 points; They ended up scoring 131.275. They placed 2nd overall, 2 points behind Southwestern, who they have won against recently.
