Dodge-Point-Iowa-Grant Gymnastics Team Wins Dual-Meet

Last night the gymnastics team faced off in a dual meet against the Plattville/Lancaster/Belmont co-op. At their previous meet over the weekend, they were their biggest competition, so they knew it would be a tough meet. The varsity pushed themselves a lot and ended up winning by an amazing 5 points. They also beat their season high again with a score of 134.1. Both JV teams ended up tying, which is really uncommon, with a score of 109.4. Malea Ashilman placed 3rd on bars and vault, and she placed 1st on beam for JV. The team’s next meet is an invitational at Plattville on Saturday, February 12, 2022, and is the last meet before conference.
