Tuesday night, the softball team had their first home game against the Iowa-Grant Panthers. The game was close the entire time, but it ended with the Pointers losing 6-5. Seniors Mallory Lindsey and Ella Chambers scored 4 out of the 5 runs; both had great bunts for a hit. Freshman Ella Kroll also had a great hit that scored her a double. Junior Rilyn Mootz pitched a majority of the game. However, in the last inning, freshman Liz Hoffman finished the game. The team’s next scheduled game is Monday the 11th in Southwestern.
