Prairie du Chien Challenges the Pointers Softball

The softball team traveled the long distance to Prarie du Chien High School to take on their softball team. Sadly, they ended up losing 11-4. The girls did a good job hitting but could not keep up on the defense side. With the bad weather recently, the team had not been able to practice outside which took away the practice of fielding on an actual field and getting a feel for it leading to the team not being entirely comfortable playing on the field. The JV team did pull through with a win, 5-0. In addition, junior Kennedy Wenger was named MP’s Blue Crew Player of the Week! The girls’ next game is home against Darlington on Thursday, April 21.
