Pointers Softball Fell to Iowa Grant
Monday Night, in the cold, windy weather, the Pointer Softball team encountered the Iowa Grant Panthers for the second time. The girls had difficulty moving their bats and made numerous errors in the field, so they lost 9-5. Mallory Lindsey was 2 for 2 with an RBI. Kennedy Kabat went 2 for 3 with a double, and Kennedy Wenger also added a double. The girl’s next game is at home against Riverdale.

Pointers Softball Triumphs at Tournament
This past Saturday, the Pointer Softball team hosted a tournament in the beautiful weather. They played two games against Monticello/New Glarus and Shullsburg/Benton. In their first game, they won 12-0. Ella Chambers went 3 for 3, while Kennedy Wenger went 2 for 2, along with a triple; Kennedy Kabat also had a double. In the second game, they also won 13-3. Kennedy Wenger went 2 for 3 in this game with a home run! Olivia Wendhausen also added a double. The girls had so much success in these games because they played well on the field and hit great. Their next game is Monday night against Iowa Grant at Cobb.
