Pointer Win on a Historic Day

On Friday in Pointer Varsity Baseball action, the Pointers named the field after Ted Evans a long-time baseball coach and principal at Mineral Point High School. Ted Evans threw out the first pitch to his grandson, Dominik McVay. Dominik McVay then led off the evening game in the bottom half of the inning with a leadoff home run. Later in the third inning, Leyton Bowers went deep. The Pointers went on to win 14-4.
