The Pointer Volleyball girls took a quick win over the Riverdale Chieftains, last night.

To start the night off the JV and JVR teams took to the court. In JVR action the girls lost with 1 – 2 sets. They won the first set 26 – 24, then sadly dropped to a couple of losses 16 – 25 and 12 – 15. The JV team battled for three straight wins with scores of 25 – 12, 25 – 11, and 15 – 11.

After a Tuesday night win against Cuba City, the varsity team was ready for this match. The girls overtook the Chieftains with a win of 25 – 18 followed by 25 – 21 and 25 – 13 games. The Pointers took the win 3 – 0. #10, Malea Aschliman added on to last night, “After our big win on Tuesday we were on a high note. And even though we had low energy at some points we still did our best and pulled through.”
