JV Pointer Football Loses Against Potosi/Cassville

On Monday, The JV football team lost a tough one to Potosi/Cassville by a score of 30-8. The Pointers struggled early, going down 24-0. With twenty seconds left in the first half, Jaxson Wendhausen connected with Brett Bossert for a big gain down to the one-yard line. Jaxson then hit Brylen Lee for the touchdown, and finally, Brett Bossert for the two-point conversion.
The Pointers couldn’t get anything else going though as Potosi/Cassville took the win 30-8. Brett Bossert said in the loss, “Our defense shined late in the game, but it was too little too late.
