DP Cross Country Greg Bell Memorial Night Run

The Greg Bell Memorial Cross Country Invite was Thursday, September 15, 2022, in Boscobel, Wisconsin. It’s a night run that both high school and middle school teams run in. Runners are decked out in paint, glow bracelets, necklaces, etc. Even the tents are decked out. It’s an enjoyable run that is only 3 miles long. It was a perfect night with great weather, which made a great run! JV girls and boys teams both ran with the varsity teams. Girls varsity took 1st, with Ellie Robinson in first place with a time of 18:18. Boys varsity took 2nd, with Layne Aurit in second with a time of 16:51. Both coaches stated, “we went home happy!”

The middle school teams also ran in Boscobel on Thursday, September 15, running 1.6 miles. Accurace did not say team places on the website. For girls, Lilly Houtakker took 4th place with a time of 11:51. For boys, Rhet Spurley took 6th with a time of 11:04.
