Varsity Pointer Wrestling at Tom McGarvie Earlybird Scramble

The Mineral Point Varsity Wrestling Team traveled to Watertown on Saturday, December 3, 2022, to take part in the Earlybird Scramble.
To start off the day, Quinten Kite, at 145 lbs., fell to a wrestler from Badger with a decision of 6-0. He later pinned 2 opponents and finished in 9th place. Alan James finished in 8th place, Matt Aurit in 3rd place, and Lennon Ewert in 7th place.
Lucas Sullivan went undefeated while earning his 100th win during the finals. Tarrin Riley, Roen Carey, Mac Busser, and Carson Kroll were also 1st place finishers.
Both Kylie Rule and Dealya Collins pinned every one of their opponents, making them 1st place finishers in the girls’ division.
