MP Boys Basketball Defeats Iowa-Grant

Last Friday night, the Varsity boys played their first conference game with a 54 to 43 win over Iowa-Grant. Eli Lindsey led the pointers with 21 points and Landon Thousand added 13. Luke Kisgen took rebounding honors with 11 boards and Cooper Palzkill grabbed another 10. Landon Thousand dished out 7 assists. The Panthers came out of the gates in an aggressive manner taking the lead to start. The Pointers battled back at a slower rate but eventually dug their way out of their deficit.
The JV boys won 78 to 23 over the Panthers. Reid Acherman and Cole Ripp had 10 points each. While Jaxson Wendhausen and Keaton Dempsey also added 10 a piece. Everyone got their chance to play, and they sure showed what they were made of and how they contribute to the team’s success.
