MP Girls Basketball Loses to New Glarus Knights
Monday night, the varsity girls sadly lost to the New Glarus Knights 40 to 59. The leading scorers were senior Katelyn Cox, with 15, Kennedy Wenger, Eliza Ingwell, and Laci Lindsey, with six each. Freshman Maddy Kabat commented, “We were slower running down the court than we usually were, which cost us the game.”
The JV girls dominated the New Glaus Knights 49 to 31. Liz Hoffman had a top score of 13 points, and Eliza Ingwell with 11. The Pointers shot well around the perimeter, giving them a good lead.
The Pointers’ next appearance will be Tuesday, December 27, when they host the Janesville Parker Vikings. The Vikings have an overall record of 2-8, and the Pointers have an overall record of 8-2. Varsity will tip off at 1:00.
