Varsity Pointers at Cheesehead Invitational in Kaukauna

The Pointers traveled to Kaukauna this weekend to take on the Cheesehead Invitational for a two-day tournament starting at 5:00 pm on Friday night. They wrestled three rounds on Friday including a preliminary round. On Saturday the tournament started up again at 8:30 am. The Pointers all together wrestled five rounds, quarter finals, semifinals, and finals.
Roen Carey, Tarrin Riley, and Lucas Sullivan all wrestled in the finals match. Lucas Sullivan placed fourth place, while Roen Carey and Tarrin Riley placed 5th.
Other Pointer wrestlers at the event included Kade Rule who placed 12th, Carson Kroll 13th, Graham Fitzsimmons 14th, Mac Busser 15th, and Matt Aurit 20th.
