NORWALK, CA – Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify a driver who struck a pedestrian and fled a Norwalk gas station parking lot on Monday morning.
The Incident
The hit-and-run occurred just before 7:00 a.m. on Monday, July 6. According to authorities, the victim was walking through the parking lot of the Chevron gas station located at 10967 Alondra Boulevard when they were struck by a vehicle.
The driver failed to stop, check on the victim, or render aid before accelerating away from the scene.
Suspect Vehicle Description
Surveillance cameras at the station captured the incident. LASD officials have described the suspect’s vehicle as a gray-colored, older-model minivan.
The vehicle was last seen traveling westbound on Alondra Boulevard immediately after the collision. Information regarding the current condition or identity of the injured pedestrian has not been released by officials.
