STUTTGART, AR – A weekend shooting near a popular community aquatic center in Stuttgart has left three children injured and a juvenile suspect in custody.
Gunfire Breaks Out at Aquatic Center
The incident occurred on Saturday just before 5:00 p.m. at the John Cain Aquatic Center. Stuttgart Police Department officers, along with Arkansas County Sheriff’s deputies, rushed to the scene following frantic reports of shots fired near the recreational facility.
Upon arrival, authorities found three children suffering from gunshot wounds. All three victims were immediately transported to a local hospital.
