BEAUMONT, TX – One teenager is dead and two others are injured following a Wednesday afternoon shooting that sparked a multi-agency manhunt across Southeast Texas.
Backyard Shooting Leaves Teen Dead
Beaumont Police officers responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 1:02 p.m. Wednesday in the 4300 block of Ogden Street. Upon arrival, authorities discovered three young victims suffering from gunshot wounds in the backyard of a residence.
All three victims were rushed to a local hospital. Officials confirmed that 17-year-old Arin Antwine tragically succumbed to his injuries. The other two victims, both 15 years old, were treated for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
One Suspect Captured in Orange
Following a rapid joint investigation by the Beaumont Police Department and the Southeast Texas Violent Crime Task Force, warrants were issued for two suspects, both charged with one count of murder and two counts of aggravated assault.
On Wednesday evening, 18-year-old Larry Stoker was tracked down and taken into custody at a residence in Orange, Texas. Local police credited the following agencies for their assistance in the arrest:

- Texas Department of Public Safety
- U.S. Marshals Service
Manhunt Underway for Second Suspect
The second suspect, 18-year-old Christopher Bushnell, remains at large and is considered dangerous.
Detectives are actively searching for Bushnell and are urging the public to come forward with any information regarding his current whereabouts.
