BOSTON, MA – One man is fighting for his life and two others were injured following a late-night shooting in Boston’s Dorchester neighborhood on Sunday.
Emergency Response To Quincy Street
Boston Police officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 400 block of Quincy Street at approximately 10:41 p.m. Upon arrival, emergency crews located a man in a driveway suffering from a gunshot wound.
Though the victim was conscious and able to speak with officers at the scene, he was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition to undergo emergency surgery.
Others Injured In The Gunfire
Authorities confirmed that two other individuals were grazed by bullets during the incident. Both sustained minor injuries and refused medical treatment from emergency medical services at the scene.
Investigation Active
No arrests have been made, and police have not yet released any suspect descriptions or a potential motive for the shooting.
