Police say the incident occurred around 1:15 p.m. at a park near North 10th Street and Kent Avenue, an area known for its scenic views of the city.

Authorities identified the teen as Timithee Englund, a sophomore at Manhattan Village Academy High School. According to police, he fell from the top of the tower and suffered critical injuries.
