Riverside County, California — A school resource deputy in Riverside County has been removed from campus assignment after video surfaced online appearing to show force being used on a juvenile outside a California high school.
The incident, which quickly spread across social media, has sparked intense public reaction and prompted an internal investigation by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.
Confrontation Happened Outside High School
According to authorities, the confrontation unfolded around 3:45 p.m. Tuesday near the 15000 block of Lasselle Street, just outside Vista del Lago High School.
Deputies responded after receiving reports of a physical altercation involving students in the area.
