A heartbreaking tragedy has shaken a Texas community after a father allegedly orchestrated a chilling and calculated attack that claimed the lives of his young daughter and her mother.

Authorities say 30-year-old John Mbuyi lured 33-year-old Raissa Thatukila and their 6-year-old daughter, Nathy Mbuyi, to a parking lot under the false promise of giving them money.
Instead, investigators allege, he carried out a planned ambush.
The shooting occurred around 4:30 p.m. in a stadium parking lot. Police say Mbuyi arrived in a rental truck, exited the vehicle, and opened fire on the car carrying the victims.
Emergency responders found both victims inside the vehicle. One was declared dead at the scene, while the other was rushed to a hospital but later died from injuries.
Mbuyi was found nearby, having died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
