MEDFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ – Firefighters rushed to the scene of a prominent Burlington County church late Friday night as heavy smoke poured from the building.
Emergency Crews Respond to Fellowship Alliance Chapel
The blaze broke out at the Fellowship Alliance Chapel, located at 199 Church Road in Medford Township. Aerial footage from the scene showed multiple fire trucks lining the property as emergency personnel immediately began containment efforts.
Firefighters could be seen working directly on the roof of the structure, cutting ventilation holes as thick, dark smoke continued to billow from the building.
Investigation and Injuries
At this time, local officials have not reported any injuries to civilians or first responders. It remains unclear if anyone was inside the chapel when the fire started.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown, and local fire marshals are expected to launch a full investigation once the scene is completely secured and hot spots are extinguished.
