Four Found Dead In North Hills Potential Murder-Suicide

NORTH HILLS, CA – A tragic incident has shaken a quiet Los Angeles neighborhood after two adults, a toddler, and an infant were found dead inside a home on Wednesday night.

The Discovery

Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officers responded to a call at approximately 7:50 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27. Upon arrival at a residence in the 16200 block of Londelius Street in the North Hills neighborhood, authorities discovered the bodies of four individuals.

The victims all sustained fatal gunshot wounds. According to law enforcement sources, the deceased include:

  • An adult woman in her 20s
  • An adult man in her 20s
  • A toddler
  • A four-month-old infant

Investigation Points to Murder-Suicide

The LAPD Robbery-Homicide Division has taken over the investigation due to the severity of the case. Preliminary evidence suggests the incident was a murder-suicide. Law enforcement sources indicate investigators currently believe the woman shot the man and both children before taking her own life.

“This is an absolute tragedy,” LAPD Captain Mike Bland stated regarding the ongoing investigation. The identities of the victims have not yet been publicly released pending notification of next of kin.

Community In Mourning

The news has left the North Hills community in shock. Neighbors have begun placing flowers outside the Londelius Street home to honor the victims, especially the young children involved.

Detectives are actively working the scene and interviewing acquaintances to determine a possible motive behind the tragedy.
