SACRAMENTO COUNTY, Calif. — Deputies with the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a late-night shooting that left a man hospitalized near a restaurant along Bradshaw Road, authorities said.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies responded to reports of a shooting around 9:45 p.m. Monday in the area of Bradshaw Road, near the Pho Bac Hoa Viet restaurant. When deputies arrived, they found an adult male suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
The victim was treated at the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital. Officials did not release details about his injuries, and his current condition has not been made public.
Investigators believe the shooting may be connected to a carjacking that occurred in the same area. Authorities said there could be up to three male suspects involved in the incident, though no descriptions have been released at this time.
Deputies remained in the area for several hours as they secured the scene, collected evidence, and spoke with potential witnesses. The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been announced.
