Hello everybody. It’s been a long time since March 5th, the last edition of Blue Crew Bulletin. However, now that Pointer Sports are back, it’s time to give you the COMPLETE rundown on the past week of competition. Here we go!

Volleyball

This is the Varsity team’s first year under new head coach, Mr. Ingwell. On Tuesday, the Pointers hosted the Redbirds. The JV team was able to take the win in just three sets; however, the Varsity team fell in three. Here are the results from JV and Varsity Competition

JV:

Set 1: 26-24 WIN

Set 2: 25-55 WIN

Set 3: 25-16 WIN

Varsity:

Set 1: 21-25 LOSS

Set 2: 22-25 LOSS

Set 3:  16-25 LOSS

Tonight, the Volleyball teams will travel to Boscobel to take on the Bulldogs. JV and Freshman start at 5:45, with the Varsity squad starting at 7:15. CLICK HERE to Livestream the Match on “Bulldogs Live” on Facebook.

Boys Soccer

On Tuesday, the Boys Soccer team picked up a win vs Richland Center as they kicked their season off. Malachi Strompolis and Drew Hottenstein each scored one goal in the commanding 10-0 win.

The soccer team faces Prairie du Chien tonight at home, as they look to go 2-0 to start the year. Unless there is another issue, the game will be available online if you CLICK HERE.

Cross Country

Dodge Point Boys and Girls have both had successful starts to their season. Here are the results from the two runs they have taken part in so far.

Cross Country is set to run in a meet tonight at 4:30 in Boscobel. They will take on Boscobel, Fennimore, and Riverdale.

Football

The Pointer Boys will start their football season NEXT FRIDAY as they are set to take on Dodgeville. For more on the upcoming football season, check out the newest Coach’s Corner episode.
