Charlotte County, Florida – Authorities say a Florida woman has been arrested after allegedly stabbing her roommate to death and later driving the victim’s truck to another city following the incident.
According to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded Sunday night to a home on Gewant Boulevard after receiving a report about someone who was not breathing inside the residence.
When deputies arrived, they discovered Paul De Wayne Bradley deceased inside the home.
Investigators say the victim had suffered fatal injuries and was found unresponsive when deputies arrived at the scene.

Authorities located Giblin in Sarasota while she was driving the victim’s pickup truck.
Deputies detained her shortly after locating the vehicle.

Investigators say the suspect told them she covered the victim with a tarp after realizing he was beyond help.
Authorities say she then left the residence and drove away in Bradley’s truck, eventually traveling to Sarasota.
