NEW YORK, NY – New York City health officials have confirmed the fifth case of measles in the five boroughs this year, tracing a possible exposure site to a popular Midtown restaurant.
Manhattan Exposure Site The city’s Health Department confirmed that an unvaccinated adult, whose case is linked to international travel, is the latest to test positive.
Norma Gastronomia Siciliana, located in Hell’s Kitchen, notified the public that an infected individual visited the restaurant on April 25 between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. While there is no ongoing risk at the establishment, officials are working to identify others who may have been exposed.
