Oklahoma City, Oklahoma — Authorities have arrested an Oklahoma man and his girlfriend in a deeply troubling case involving a minor, after investigators uncovered allegations that a teenage girl was exploited and became pregnant under unlawful circumstances.
The suspects, both 36, were taken into custody in Nevada following a coordinated effort by multiple law enforcement agencies. Officials say the case has raised serious concerns about child safety, exploitation, and failures to intervene earlier.
Arrest made after multi-state investigation
Law enforcement identified the suspects as Nathan Potier and Erica Palmer, who were located in the Reno-Sparks area and arrested by a U.S. Marshals task force.
Potier is facing a charge of sexual assault involving a minor, while Palmer has been charged with enabling abuse of a minor.
