DALLAS, TX – A North Texas family is demanding answers after an 18-year-old Fort Worth man was shot and killed at a party overnight in Dallas.
The Shooting
Dallas Police responded to a residence on Masters Drive in Pleasant Grove just before 2:00 a.m. Officers arrived to find 18-year-old Isaiah suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The teenager was rushed to Baylor University Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Family Seeks Answers
According to his mother, Araceli Rodriguez, and older brother, Jaden Hernandez, Isaiah had left their Fort Worth home earlier that day with a new friend to attend the gathering. The family is now struggling to find clarity amid conflicting reports of what occurred.
“I don’t know what’s true and what’s not,” Rodriguez stated. “Every story that I hear what they did to him, it’s horrible.”
Investigation Ongoing
Dallas Police have not yet released any information regarding a motive or potential suspects involved in the shooting. No arrests have been made at this time.
The family is urging anyone who attended the party or has information about the incident to contact the Dallas Police Department.
