Mineral Point basketball vs Bosocbell an Darlington

December 12, 2023

Mineral Point Boys Varsity Basketball played against Boscobel Tuesday night. This Conference matchup was a big game for the Pointers. Mineral Point had a great start as senior Brady Radtke hit a mid-range shot to start Pointers scoring. Mineral Point limited Boscobel’s offense and made it hard for them to score. The Pointers shot the ball well as senior Bryce Vamsted knocked down a three to put the Pointers up 13-4. That just started the run as the Pointers continued to get fast break points and 3s. They ended the half up 28-6. The Pointers kept it going in the 2nd half as Alex Ross hit a 3 pointer to put the Pointers up 43-10.

Mineral Point’s defense also did not disappoint. One of the highlights was Atley Potterton’s big block. The Pointers finished with a score of 60-18 and with 46 percent on field goals. The Pointers will play the Darlington Redbirds at home on Friday, an awaited game and a big conference battle.
