Sources of Strength is an organization that, according to its website, strives to “prevent adverse outcomes by increasing wellbeing, help-seeking, resiliency, healthy coping, and belonging.” Each month, the Mineral Point School District focuses on encouraging strengthening a different wedge of the Sources of Strength Wheel.
During the month of December, our school will be focusing on the generosity wedge. Generosity can look a lot of different ways, from donating money or time to being intentionally kind to other people. These acts of generosity towards others, big or small, can actually make an impact on how we feel about ourselves. Sources of Strength would like to highlight the great work that our school is doing around generosity!
