Arizona Man Accused of Killing Pregnant Teen Girlfriend In Bay Park

SAN DIEGO, CA – A 21-year-old Arizona man appeared in a San Diego court on Wednesday, facing murder charges for allegedly shooting his pregnant 17-year-old girlfriend in the head during her family’s vacation.

A History of Domestic Violence

According to prosecutors, the suspect, Trevon Williams, and the victim, identified only as Jariah E. due to her minor status, began dating in September 2025. Investigators revealed that the couple had an on-and-off relationship marred by domestic violence and violent threats directed at both the teen and the couple’s unborn child.

In an effort to distance the teen from Williams, her family rented a vacation Airbnb in the Bay Park neighborhood of San Diego last weekend and blocked Williams’ phone number.

The Five-Hour Lyft Ride and Lure

Prosecutors stated that Williams tracked down the family’s vacation location and took a five-hour Lyft ride from Arizona to San Diego.

Upon arrival, Williams reportedly instructed the driver to drop him off a few doors down from the home, where he hid outside. To lure the victim out, he allegedly used a multi-step plan:

  • First Attempt: He ordered flowers to be delivered and told the girl to come outside. However, she was accompanied by a family member.
  • Second Attempt: Williams then ordered a delivery for a vase to lure the victim outside a second time—this time, alone.

Court Proceedings

When the victim stepped outside by herself, Williams allegedly confronted her and shot her in the head, killing her.

Williams remains in custody in San Diego as the legal proceedings continue. The defense has not yet issued a public statement regarding the charges.
