She is an all-around great student and a great athlete.
Regan was asked the following questions:
How did you feel when you won?
Regan: “I was really surprised. I don’t know if you saw the photo of when I won. In my head I was thinking about my name being said, so I thought I just said it in my head. I don’t think I heard it out loud.”
Did you think you were going to win?
Regan: “Not really. I always hoped I would win. Everyone wants to win a little bit. So I was hoping I would, but I didn’t think I would.”
Why did you not think you were going to win?
Regan: “I just thought that Malea and Bre are amazing people, so I thought everyone would vote for them.”
What is your favorite thing about being queen?
Regan: “My favorite thing about being queen was when I went to elementary school. I was talking to Mrs. Burris afterward, and she said all of her preschoolers were in the classroom afterward and were like I touched the queen. I gave the queen a high five. I touched her, and I thought that was so funny.”
Did you ever think you would win queen when you were younger?
Regan: “When I was little, I had a lot of confidence in myself. I was like, That’s going to be me someday, and then I got into middle school and was like, never mind.”
Regan tries hard in everything she does and goes above and beyond to be kind and caring to everyone. Mineral Point is proud to have her as our 2023 Homecoming Queen.
